Search history

Gowiz does not store your search history on its database in a way that can be tied to the natural person who made the query.

When a visitor has made a search request by entering a search query and has clicked on a relevant answer then Gowiz stores the fact that for a given query a random user found a particular website relevant. This assures that Gowiz can continue to improve its service. By retaining only this information guarantees that we can't tie a search query to a specific individual.

Gowiz does not protect its visitors from the fact that the visitors' internet provider can collect their browser history. You should refer to their internet provider's privacy policy for more details on how their browser history is processed.

Cashing

Gowiz uses cashing to improve the performance of its service.

We cash our logo and other brand assets in the visitors' browsers for a month and past search results for 1 hour.
